A children’s room with babysitters and child-friendly food will be provided adjacent to the ballroom. Please let us know if you intend to take advantage of this opportunity, as we will want to make sure we provide adequate supervision for the number and ages of children.
We are currently expecting about 10-15 little ones to be playing in the children’s room. After consulting with the Early Childhood Education Center (preschool) at Joan’s church, we have arranged for 3 babysitters, all of whom actually work for the ECEC and have plenty of experience caring for youngsters. So parents, rest assured your children will be safely looked after while you party! Since you know your kids best, please provide their favorite toys, books, etc. to help keep them occupied. The babysitters are planning to borrow some toys and games from the ECEC to bring along, as well.
Children’s Menu: Pizza with assorted juices, caffeine-free sodas, and water

Joan:
We’re dithering about the kid thing, actually. C1 will definately be coming, and won’t need the kids’ room, because at 10.5 she’s perfectly able to act like a mini-adult at things like this.
C2 might be coming. I’m dithering about him. At five, he could probably behave. But then there’s also the possibility of him going bowling with his uncle. I suspect you guys won’t be as cool as Unca Matt, if he gets to pick.
C3 will be staying with her grandparents. A cranky two-year-old should not be inflicted upon my friends when grandma and grandpa live 40 minutes away. : )
Hey Joan,
First I just wanted to say I am so happy for you I cant wait to see you this weekend. I know you will be a beautiful bride.
I have couple songs thought you guys might enjoy hearing at your wedding. I have heard them at other weddings and they just seem to set the mood do well. So hear you go.
We are man and Wife— Michelle Featherstone
La Vie En Roses —- Louis Armstrong
At Last —– by Etta James
Everything—– Michele Buble
Save the last dance—– Michele Buble
**** Just the way you look tonight**** version sung by steve tyrell from father of the bride or Michele Buble
I hope you listen to them and like what you hear.
Please let Cathy know that I will be in town Friday afternoon. Again Can’t wait to see you guys.
